School Investigations

Affording Due Process in Education

We conduct impartial investigations into student, employee, and faculty member complaints made at K-12 schools, community colleges, private and public university campuses, and other education programs and activities. We are trained to conduct school investigations in accordance with all applicable laws, including Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972 and Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations. These claims may include, but are not limited to, discrimination, retaliation, sexual and protected class harassment, discrimination, sexual misconduct, intimate partner violence, stalking, and retaliation.

Further, we have received training through the Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA) to serve as hearing officers and decision makers in Title IX hearings, and to conduct Title IX and K-12 civil rights investigations.
