Professional Experience

Michele Landenberger has substantial experience conducting workplace and complaint investigations for private employers and public educational institutions. Prior to working with LeGolvan Law, Michele worked for a statewide, full-service law firm representing K-12 school districts, community college districts, and county offices of education in education and employment law matters. She handled cases of employee discipline, leaves of absence and FMLA/CFRA, and reasonable accommodations, and she defended employers against allegations of discrimination made with California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She regularly conducted investigations into claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, including Uniform Complaints, as well as employee misconduct investigations. Michele holds a certificate with the Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA) as a K-12 civil rights investigator.
